Since May 2nd, experts from 10 universities and 5 countries have been discussing research topics on a European level. As part of project workshops, researchers from 7 faculties of Ostfalia are participating in thematic round tables on topics related to digitization, mobility, sustainability, and health. They are supported by the project teams of Ostfalia and Harz University of Applied Sciences as well as representatives of the EU Higher Education Office at TU Braunschweig and the Representation of the State of Saxony-Anhalt to the European Union in Brussels.
To kick off the event, the responsible vice-presidents of the hosting universities and other experts from universities and state representations discussed current framework conditions for research and talked about specific support offerings of universities and countries in the form of input presentations and a panel discussion.
Until May 5th, around 30 invited researchers will be developing European networks in the field of research, teaching, and transfer and initiating project approaches. Research infrastructures, such as the VR Lab at Harz University of Applied Sciences and the newly created Open Mobility Lab of Ostfalia University, which are available for future research approaches, will be presented to the participants.
In this way, existing collaborations with international partner universities are continuously deepened and developed.
The event was planned and implemented as part of the BMBF-funded project "weR-inter".
