When risks are examined without regard to sustainability, decision-makers are pushed to the limit because they are surprised by the complexity and dynamics of the risks. The challenges in society and major damage show that so far there is no convincing approach to dealing with risks including sustainability. The conference paper contain ideas and solutions for linking the topics of risk and sustainability in society, politics, economy, health and technology.
