Furthermore, she presented the content of the university’s future strategy and objectives. Kai Hillebrecht, responsible for international cooperations and the Knowledge and Technology Transfer at Ostfalia, presented concrete approaches of German-French cooperations in the areas of teaching and research.

Based on this information, concrete measures were discussed to further deepen the cooperation between Ostfalia and French partners. These measures include the development of joint study programmes and the implementation of summer schools and transnational projects. Dr. Bernard Ludwig showed great interest in already initiated projects and internationalisation measures and has promised to support these activities, within the framework of the Franco-German University and Campus France. Finally, based on this meeting it was agreed to promote joint initiatives and to continuously expand the cooperation. Prof. Dr. Rosemarie Karger and Dr. Bernard Ludwig both agreed that the contact between the French Embassy and Ostfalia is of great mutual importance and should be used to initiate and implement joint activities.
