International Relations Office
Within the framework of the strategic project “InterAct! – International Activities” (funding program HAW.International, Module A of the German Academic Exchange Service - DAAD) the international presence and the international exchange of Ostfalia are to be improved. These objectives should also be anchored in the future strategy of the university. The team consists of five members at the interface between the International Relations Office (IRO) and Knowledge and Technology Transfer (WTT).
Measures and offers to increase an international presence are implemented at the level of research and teaching as well as administration and organisation. These measures should continuously improve the visibility of Ostfalia and its profile, the diversity and availability of offers and services, and its attractiveness for national and international students, lecturers, researchers and partner organisations. By implementing measures in the areas of “strategy development”, “internationalisation at home”, “mobility”, “network development and cooperation”, “ financing” as well as “digitalisation and (scientific) communication”, international and intercultural competences are promoted, mobility and encounters are promoted, exchange and cooperation are developed together, and funding is made available.
