with the common goal of investigating engineering-based research and transfer activities with a focus on humans.
We consider the design, development and evaluation of robotic and data-driven systems with the target of understanding user (re-)actions, simplifying their decision-making and making systems easier to use. We evaluate solutions developed for this purpose with user acceptance as a target variable, because:
a system that users do not want to use in everyday life is not a satisfactory solution to their problems.
