Brunswick European Law School (BELS) supports virtual UN PRME Global Student Summit “Empowering Today’s Youth for a Sustainable Tomorrow” on 10th of December 2024

On Tuesday, 10th of December 2024 the UN PRME Global Students hosted the third PRME Global Students (PGS) Annual Summit entitled: "Empowering Today's Youth for a Sustainable Tomorrow."

The PGS Summit 2024 was held virtually and brought together young leaders and youth agency enthusiasts from academia, private, non-profit, and public sectors to discuss relevant and pressing challenges faced by our planet and our societies today. Some of the aims of the event was to debate and exchange ideas about possible improvements and solutions for our common future.

Anna-Theresia Krein, M.A. was invited by Paulo Speroni, Manager of Strategy, Governance and Innovations at UN PRME to moderate in a session entitled: "From Classroom to Action: Empowering Sustainable Student Initiatives" from 09:45-10.30 am EST (03:34-4.30 pm Wolfenbüttel, Germany). During the sessions, questions and approaches towards implementing sustainability at universities as well as questions of best practice – and, in particular, the linking of theory and practice - were discussed.
