International excursion from the DAAD SDG Project Exchange Students and the RFS FTC Master’s program to Germany’s financial capital Frankfurt am Main

With the focus to create synergies on several levels between Indian, Nepalese and German students Prof. Dr. Olaf Schlotmann conducted an excursion from 30.10.-01.11.2024 in his course “Navigating Financial Markets and Institutions – A (European) Perspective on the evolution of a more sustainable monetary system”.

"Do not plant words, but trees" - Reforestation in Heiningen

On March 4, 2023, around 70 students from Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Wolfenbüttel planted 3,375 trees and shrubs as part of an excursion by the ZWIRN research center at Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. The reforestation took place on a 0.5-hectare area near Klostergut Heiningen on the banks of the Warne river in collaboration with the foundation "Foundation Future Forest".
