The main campus of Ostfalia University is located in Wolfenbüttel. Over three centuries Wolfenbüttel was residence of the Dukes of Braunschweig and Lüneburg who attracted scholars like Lessing and Leibniz with their famous library.

Wolfenbüttel is neighboured by the cities of Braunschweig, Wolfsburg and Salzgitter. All of them are important industrial and research sites. The international airport in state capital Hanover can be reached in less than one hour.

Accomodation

Ostfalia University offers support to students in their search for accommodation before their arrival. Housing is approximately from 250 to 400 EUR.

Living Cost

Approximately 300 to 400 EUR.

Health Insurance

Non-EU Citizens have to join the national public health insurance (90 EUR per month). The International Student Office will help you in arranging for one.
